Dec 15 update; NFL, MLB

NFL

Akeem Dent, LB, Atlanta Falcons
Falcons fans had a chance to get up close and personal with two team members this week in Lawrenceville.   On Monday, Brent Grimes and Akeem Dent took part in a Tweetup at Olde Towne Tavern. Fans had a chance to get autographs and ask Grimes and UGA alum Dent questions about the season and Thursday night's game against the Jacksonville Jaguar.
Attendees also had the opportunity to win an a Falcons football helmet signed by Grimes and Dent as well as other gifts from Verizon Wireless.  Taken from here

Brandon Coutu, K, Jacksonville Jaguars
Coutu ready if Scobee can't go
Brandon Coutu is likely to have a homecoming Thursday night at the Georgia Dome.
Coutu, who grew up in Suwannee, Ga., and kicked in the Georgia Dome in both high school and in college at the University of Georgia, is poised to make his NFL debut Thursday for the Jaguars when they play the Falcons.  The Jaguars signed him Monday to the practice squad because Josh Scobee suffered a groin injury in Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay.  Read more at Jacksonville.com

Richard Seymour, DE, Oakland Raiders
He’s earning himself more playing time each week. With the way Richard Seymour is playing and with John Henderson banged up he might just earn more time at defensive tackle as well as defensive end.  From here

MLB

Jeff Keppinger, Infield, San Francisco Giants
The final addition the Yankees should make from baseball's Overstock.com is utility infielder Jeff Keppinger. The Yankees have a pair of roles Keppinger can fill—Plan B for Alex Rodriguez, and last man on the roster.  Rest here
