USA Network teams with NFL for documentary
Pic to spotlight different forms of discrimination

USA Network is pacting with the pro football world for a docu that examines different forms of discrimination.
"NFL Characters Unite," to premiere Feb. 10, is part of the cabler's public service campaign. Featured in the pic are the Atlanta Falcons' Tony Gonzalez, Jimmy Graham of the New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward and former Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy.

Each will describe episodes of discrimination faced in their personal lives and they were able to overcome them.

Hourlong pic is directed by Greg Frith and exec produced by Charlie Ebersol and Justin Hochberg.

"The documentary will give viewers a unique perspective on the challenges some of their favorite football heroes have faced, and demonstrate to audiences that they, too, can help put an end to the hate and bigotry that remains too prevalent in our country," said Toby Graff, USA's senior VP of public affairs.
