The Chargers agreed on terms of a two-year contract with veteran tight end Randy McMichael, who was been with the team since the 2010 season.
McMichael has been a valuable commodity as a tight end who can block and catch passes, especially with Antonio Gates struggling with foot injuries in recent seasons.
McMichael, Gates and Kory Sperry, who signed a 1-year contract on Tuesday, will be the Chargers' tight ends.
