Brandon Coutu, K, Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars released kicker Brandon Coutu from the practice squad.
Coutu was signed last week after Jaguars kicker Josh Scobee suffered a groin injury in warmups. He remained on the practice squad throughout the week in case Scobee couldn’t play. Scobee kicked the Jaguars’ two extra points against the Atlanta Falcons Thursday night.
The Jaguars have not made a move to replace Coutu on the practice squad. They will likely do that Monday.
Jacksonville now has only five players on the practice squad.
